Problems with SNES TYL 0.3

Hey, I have a 2.0 PSP and so I use the Eboot loader to play roms. The emu I use is SNES TYL 0.3 and all my roms are zipped. My problem is sometimes it just freezes there like nothing happened, the music continues but I can't do anything and I can't quit. Did anyone else ever have this problem?
This happened while playing Front Mission and the other game was Actraiser I think.

This sometimes happens to my PSP which is 1.5

Sometimes....like this happened to me when I was playing Final Fantasy VI, but I was able to exit and use the menu.though...

It could be that they havent fixed all the mistakes and kinks out of the 2.0 version of the emulator.

This emulator is something of a mystery to me. I have not found a single game that I play that either doesn't work at all or is buggy as hell. I think that it must be for 2.0 or higher users or something.

mine works perfect on my 2.00, i think it doesn't support zipped roms o, if u have problems saving change the background to the one from 0.2c.

I've found some problems on my 1.5 with this emulator.....sometimes the game freezes(only happened twice), loading times are horrible, and sometimes when you load the game, like for example, I tried Street Fighter Alpha 2, and it did not load....I tried it again by going to the browser and still it didnt work, so I exited out of the emulator and loaded the emulator again...and it worked afterwards....

I play S.F. Alpha 2 all the time (was playing yesterday for about 2 hrs), guess it's your roms.

Chrono Trigger does not show the clocl at the beggining and it will not show the thumbnail photos and change name option upon meeting new characters.

F-Zero Does not work
7th Saga does not work
Some of the games that are translated through Dejap Buggy but not on the old version I don't think these are rom problems due to the fact that they work fine on the older version of the emulator.

what are you talking about i play f-zero on tyl3 every day! and i've had no problems that you've said about chrono trigger.

you really should complain....its free,its awesome AND YOU SHOULDNT HAVE UPGRADED/BOUGHT A 2.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe he has a game that made him update or wants to change the background in a snap + u can always downgrade

ya true ive never really cared about the backround and you can use psppersonalize and the psp games arnet that great.....brew>psp games lol

I am 1.5 for life and I am not sure why but everything I said is true. Now that I have heard that other people are not having the same problems that I am though I am going to get some other roms to test them out. About F-Zero it is all crunched up at the top. I tried caliberating the screen but I could not get it to stretch enough and even when I did part of the screen is a wierd grey color.

I just tried two other roms and they were the same the game is black screen until the active or wait for battle screen pops up then when it gets to the screen to name your character the picture is missing. I tried these same roms on 02c and they work fine.

it's probably your roms i've tried alot of roms on tyl 3 and the only game i've had problems with so far is act raiser 2..

For 2.00 use snes tyl 0.2c. Its faster then the snes 0.3 tyl user mode.

About Street Fighter Alpha 2, it works, it just didnt work twice, until I rebooted the emulator.

F-Zero works on my PSP...however i havent tried it with 0.3 me, I'll try later...and post back.

I think the new Emulator works great however the time it takes to save has tripled. Kind of an annoyance there...Anyone else notice this?
Other than that it works very good for me. All my games work and work at a higher fps.

thats weird it doesn't take that long for me..only about 5 seconds to save like it's always been

I would love to know what settings I could change to get the roms that work on the old version to work on the new one. Fzero for example is crushed up into a small area at the top of the screen an I have not found a way that Screen caliberation can stretch it far enough. If you had used the word ignorant as in Not knowing I could agree. Lazy, not wanting to work though not a great description?

Why dont you make the screen the smallest it can, such as change the rendering than calibrate the screen

State saving time does feel like it's been tripled.

save state time has not trippled it's exactly the same as before..
and as far as the f-zero problem goes it might be your rom because i don't have that problem with mine and i have my settings set exactly the way they are in the compatibliity thread

I was playing Earthbound today and hadn't made a save state in a very long time and it randomly crashed on me during a cut scene. Now I have to start way back near the start unless I can find a way to convert the save file I downloaded into the correct file for the PSP SNES TYL 0.3

I'm having problems with my SNES TYL 0.3 as well. I'm using 2.6 Brown Ale eloader and Daegalus' homebrew packs. The emulator runs great and everything but the only problem is that it constantly says that my battery is low. Even if its charged 100% or I plug in the AC adapter. Whats the prob?

for you to save u need to have the 0.2c background

you can't use the fast version of tyl 3 on 2.0 and UP
