This is a discussion on secret of mana shows only every other letter in some menus within the ROM Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; I'm using uo_Snes9x_002y14, and I know its a problem with the emulator cause ZSNES for windows runs it right....

The Seiken Densetsu games, as well as rudora, use a high resolution mode for displaying the text. this is not implemented in the snes9x builds, so text will not look correct.

in the newer versions of the snes emu they have high rez modes but the games are running slow in them right now.
