Edit: I moved this to a new thread so it will be easier to find by other people who look for it in the future. Maybe it can even get a sticky...

Here it is, my RIN cheats tutorial in its own thread : Guide: How to Use Cheats in RIN

1) Open up Notepad, or a similar text editor.

2) On the first line type a name for the cheat your adding so you can identify it in RIN (doesn't have to be any certain name, it's just to help you out so you don't have to remember which cheat is which just by looking at the codes)

3) On a new line type the cheat code for the name you just entered

4) If you want to add another one, hit enter twice and repeat steps 2-3 (there should be a blank line between your first cheat name and code and your second one)

5) Add all the cheats you want using this method

6) Once you've entered all the cheats you want to use, push enter twice so that there are now two blank lines after your last cheat

7) Save the file using the exact same name as the ROM for the game you're using the cheats on and give it the extention .tch (if your text editor automatically adds a .txt after the .tch just rename it and take out the .txt.

OK, in case that was confusing here's an example:

For this example your ROM name will be ABC123.gbc. Your file should be named ABC123.tch because it has to match the ROM name and the cheats will be in this format:

Code:
Title of Cheat 1
Cheat code

Title of Cheat 2
Cheat code

Title of Cheat 3
Cheat code

Title of Cheat 4
Cheat code

Title of Cheat 5
Cheat code
Remeber the 2 extra lines at the end. (I know the example above looks like 3 but it's 2).

OK I hope that helped.

Edit: In case you don't know, there can be more than 5 cheats
It doesn't need to have same name, i ended up giving it the wrong file name and it still loaded the cheat file.

OK, thanks (I just thought it did because it said so in the readme, which should have included a guide on how to do the cheats...). It's good that it worked though.
