i dont htink well have a better mame...........it seems like we havnet gotten updates in forever.what about that cps2 emu that was in the dev forum?? is that what marvel vs capcom ran under???

Ok, let's see ...

Total RAM of PSP : 32 MB
Free RAM on FW 2.0 with Eboot Loader ~19 MB
Size of a typical MAME-EBOOT: 4 MB
Zipped size of mvsc: ~23 MB
Unzipped size of ROMs: ~45 MB

... so we have about 15 MB RAM (I don't know the values for FW < 2.0 at the moment, but surely not more then 28 MB

) to emulate a system which have 45 MB ROM, probably some amount of RAM (see http://cps2shock.retrogames.com/techinfo.html for specs.) and of course the emulation also needs some RAM.

Hm, could be a little problem

and only compiling MAME for the PSP is propably not the solution

if you search the forums you will find a post with the newest version of mame for psp. First mame is so big they split it up into different eboots... ie.. konami1, konami2, capcom1, capcom2, namco, etc ,etc. problem is there are only a few roms that work right now with it. There is also a post about a Working ROMLIST that i used to check which roms i could run.......

hey pegasus,i know your a mame genius and i was wondering if you had the spare time maybe you could try to make it compaitably.sorry i dont mean to requst but this game was the best of the best.....
maybe you could get it running for just 1.5s......if you do decide to work on one let me know ill test because i have 1.5
