hmm, well I cant think of any more similar, but for the ''real'' open battles ur best of with secret of mana... though thats a totally different game than star ocean.

yeah.. Secret of Mana or Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu3). I wonder if it runs fast on the current Snes9xTYL.. Anyways, if ur going for better graphics I would say Seiken Densetsu3, personally I like Secret of Mana(that would be Seiken Densetsu2 right.. logically) better. But both great games.

Damn, I swear.. it's really confusing that some games are part 3 in a specific country and then its part 2 or 4 in another country :P

im looking for a game thats on SNES, i don't know the name

At the start theres this town, eveyone is happy, you can enter people's houses, then you can go somewhere, and everyone becomes frozen, except for 1 guy who justs sits on a pillow.

Does anybody know the name? please

I thought u ment Terranigma. Cant remember that people got frozen in Chrono Trigger although i played that game 10 times.. enlighten me?

Secret of Evermore (snes), Lufia & The Fortress of Doom (snes), Lufia II - Rise of the Sinistrals (snes), Illusion of Gaia (snes), Illusion of Time (snes) theses are also some good games, you should give `em a try
