Exclamation Saving your games with ROMs?

How can I save my progress with emulators?

I've played Chrono Trigger from the beginning 2 times already because I can't save my game!

First I tried saving it in the ROM itslef. I discovered that when I turned my PSP on again all my progress was lossed.

Then I saved it using the emulators "Save State" feature. But now it isn't working again.

I looked in on PSP files and under my save file there are still my game saved but the emulator won't detect them anymore. I would hate to play Chrono from the beginning again. Does anybody have any ideas what I can do to fix it?

Use the save state on the emulator. If you are using SNES TYL, then just hit left on the analog stick and scroll to the Save State and hit circle.

I did the same thing on Chrono Trigger.
Always use the save state.

My save states all seem to be corrupt for some reason. Right after making a state I try to load it and it says something about it being or not being a "freeze save" or something! Any ideas?

oki if you have snesTYL0.3 delete logo.bmp file and then make sure u have Brown ALE PATCHED VERSION and latest configs from fanjita.org. that logo.bmp that came with snesTYL03 made it so u could save a state at one time. Also the new configs and patched brown ale takes care of some probs as well.. when you post a question please tell us what version of emulator and what firmware version you have and what eloader vers your using please.
