This is a discussion on rom question within the ROM Discussion forums, part of the PSP Development, Hacks, and Homebrew category; this is probably a noob question but: do you put the roms in the game folder on your psp or ...

this is probably a noob question but: do you put the roms in the game folder on your psp or in the emulator folder?

For SNES put them in the psp/game/ folder for genesis put in the same folder as the emulator, GBC put the roms in the same folder as the emulator, and SMS put the roms in the same folder as the emu.
What emulator are you talking about exactly, because it varies.

For all the emulators i've used (SNES, GBA, RIN, Genesis, NeoCD) You can just put them in a 'Rom' folder and put that in the same folder as the emulator is in.
Actually for NeoCD you make a seperate folder for each individual rom and unzip it in there...

That not correct, well for neogeo anyway, neogeo cd emu can't read at more than 1 depth folder so the rom goes straight into the emu folder NOT a rom folder inside an emu folder. ps. for neogeo rom needs to be extracted iso in either a folder or a .zip archive.

Yeah i`ve always done that psp/game/snes/roms, and have had no probs( i havent used NeogeoCD, need bigger memstick, lol)
