Is GBA Emulation Dead?

With the lack of support for a GBA emulator for PSP we haven't seen a real GBA emulator in months since GBAPSP 1.1. Alot of people have been hanging out for this but it seems all coder support has walked away from the GBA sadly. Do you think GBA emulation is dead on the psp?

I wouldnt mind a GBA Emu, but seen the progress, i doubt it would happen.

GBA emulation is far from dead. Homer (the guy who works on Homer's RIN) said that he will be working on it soon. Once he does, expect GBA emulation to only get better.

so you are dissing all the good coders around here, if you think all coders are nerds then why don't you stop playing THEIR homebrew, exactly. I don't think its nice to flame anyone, let alone the great devs that make PSP homebrew how good it is today.

i think that if someone who is dedicated like PMF we could have fully running gba emulator running in no time if we kiss some ass and try and maybe contribute a little? i mean think about it snes tyl had like what 3 people working on it and look how great it's turned out:icon_wink people who are working on gba emu's are only working 1 person at a time . what we need to do is get a few dev's who are interested and have them work together.

The reason it's harder to code a gba emulator is because the psp and gba use different processot types whereas the snes uses the same branch of processors that the psp uses.

no, its just that the gba is much more powerful than the snes, the psp uses a mips processor wheras the snes used a custom built one from nintendo.
