Can anyone help me with this. I have been fooling with this for awhile and I can't get it it to work. If anyone could post a step by step by step guide it would be much appreciated.

Back in the day, when PCs didn't have gee whiz-bag graphics and speed, there existed text games that where like interactive novels. These were all text, describing what was happening, where you were, what objects were in the room you were in, etc. It would prompt you for an action like "get key" or "go north" etc. Infocom was a company that pretty much produced only text adventures.

In fact, the first King's Quest (you guys know what game that is, right?) used a text based input along with graphics. It was a hybrid of a text adventure and a graphical adventure like "Sam and Max".

if im not wrong it's a emu which lets you play text based adventure games made by infocom... but i've never heard of it... i could be wrong..

A text based adventure on a virtual keyboard.... yikes!

BTW if thats your thing then there were loads for the spectrum and amiga. Both nicely (kind of) emulated.
