The 'recommend one game' thread
Please recommend your favorite game, on which platforms it runs, which version(s) is/are the best and what emulators it works best on.
Here we go:
Dungeon Master
- Amiga version runs fine, no saving yet, navigating through the dungeon is a little slow, arrow key support would help
- SNES version does not run yet as it needs DSP-2 support
- PCEngine CD 'DM: Therons Quest' runs great and controls great with button combination for moving. Not the original dungeon and save games freeze
Eye of the Beholder:
- Amiga versions crash and would need multiple disk support
- SNES version works perfectly, controls OK but doesnt look as good
- GBA version. forget this one
Edit your post when things change (new emulator versions out etc.)

U.N. Squadron
Great shooter, Playing it on the newest Y version of SNES. You can buy a bunch of weapons and upgrade your ship. 3 different pilots with different abilitys. Great game to play while your taking a break from all the RPGs.

Illusions of Gaia for the Snes
one of the best under-rated Snes games out there
its slow starting, but once you get out into the game, it kicks ass."God and the pigeons are one. Trust the pigeons" -Killer7
"can it kill the grimace?"
"NOTHING can kill the Grimace"-Clerks-the animated series

Lets face it. The reason people were dying for emus in the first place was to play Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6.

Granted, I know that we cant emulate it yet, but...
Katamari Damacy (I doubt I'm spelling it right) is one of the most addictive games you can play for about 10 hours. I'd recomend any PS2 owner go and rent this if you have an open weekend.

you do know that you can patch the ROM with the translation patch using a program like ips XP, then just put the rom onto your psp and it will be translated, heck even the voice translation patch works kind of, its very jittery though.

SNES: dragon view (great relatively unknown game and sequal to a terrible game)
Genesis: General chaos
Game Gear: first sonic (best of any system I think)
NES: Shadow of the Ninja
Tried to put games most people dont say because my favorites have been listed 999.9 times
