does anyone have a rom of super mario kart for a SNES emulator that actually runs full speed and isnt jumpy or laggy. if u do can u post the settings that u use to make it run full speed or at least confirm that there is a rom of super mario kart that actually works.

Its not the ROM thats bad..Its just that Super mario kart is too much for the PSP to run...I currently beleive its UNplayable

i can play it at full speed in time attack with 2 frameskip...with sound..

if you turn the sound off and give it a few frame skips (not too much to take notice really)
it runs fine for me
and that was with the last version of snes9xtyl - not the newest

Same here, I got it on full speed with sound... I don't know why everyone is complaining, it may be just the emulator they're using...

I use snes9xtyl 0.3me and runs perfectly. It also ran perfectly with snes9xtyl 0.2c at 333 mhz and psp accelerated and aproxx software

It runs well with snes9xtyl 0.3me @ 333mhz, psp accel. + appr. Soft., 2 frame skip, and sound on.

i just started to read more on this and i have a few questions. i have a 2.01 psp and the brown ale is "supposed" to work on it, which it kinda does. it finds my emus but when i go to select a game its just says "detected default setting" and then goes blank and crashes. im only trying to run a sega and snes emu for sonic 1 and 2, megaman 3 and super mario world respectively. if possible can u somehow send me to a working emu and rom thats garranteed or works for you guys. i have been testing roms and emus for about a wek now and i get no where. please help if you can, if not, no big

kk works great i got the v3 like you sed. now my prob is i cant see the enemy cars in mario kart for snes for megaman is clean as hell

It works great on UOSNESX9 for me..then again my PSP has a special processor so it's faster..like 400mhz..

Well, agree with you on the too much for the psp to run perfectly, but believe me, it IS playable.

Try with these settings:

SNES 9x TYL 0.3me

333 Cpu Clock
Sound 44 Mhz
Sound On
PSP Accel+Accu
Frameskip 1
Smooth Emulation On
Everything else OFF

It should play next to perfect.

main menu-
sound: on
sound frequency: 32khz
gfx engine: psp accel+appr.soft.
frameskip: 4
rendering: zoom wide
render pal as ntsc: on
smoothing: on
speed limit: on
video sync: off
gamma correction: 0
cpu clock: 333mhz

hack/debug menu-
fast mode 7: on
no transparency: on
fast sprites: on

runs almost as fast as the real thing (while racing, 52fps at the lowest, mostly 55fps, 57fps at most)
