Forgot the name of an old Genesis game.

When I was a kid, my parents gave me a box full of genesis games that some of their friends were selling. Among those in this box was a game where you chose between two levels, one in which you controlled a red plane and the other in which you controlled a blue plane. It was a top down roaming shooter where you had to blow up bases or something, but the cool thing was that you could turn your plane into a robot like Robotech or something.
Thing is the game was in japanese and I have no idea what the name of it was.

Newgrounds.com has a remake of 2 different games where you can play as a red plane and I'm sure in one of you can be a blue plane and I think the other one does. I'll post the names tomorrow er I mean later today when I feel like it.

The game is Herzog Zwei. I have it for Genesis. Made by Technosoft. They also made the ThunderForce series of shooters. Awesome games.

Herzog Zwei on ebay goes for big-bucks now. I saw one go for $100--in perfect condition, w/manual and box.

It is a very good strategy game.
