I have tried many different Rom versions of Beyond Oasis. None are working in the DGen v1.4 on firmware 1.5. It does loading the game but after the title menu, many little green dots are everywhere on the screen but nothing happen after that.

Anyone have luck with this fab game?
Or is Beyond Oasis is not compatibility with DGen?

never heard of the game before :S but try it usuing dgen 1.3 or a lower dgen, that way you can check compatibility of emu or if its a rom fault. also try the roms using a PC emulator.

Beyond Oasis is a bit like Zelda classic games.

Yeah i will have another deep look with these roms, to try on pspgenesis and PC emulator version. Will let you know what is going on.

sorry double post, but you are right, it is much working on PSPGenesis.

Shame DGen is not compatibility very well.

LOL, I do like Moonwalker ;) but not sure about M.Jackson

Beyond Oasis is more of Zelda rather than RPG like Secret of Mana. It has no battle game but no good as Zelda classics. Of course there is no other than Zelda but this one is almost.

Man...It accurs to me that a lot of the people in these forums missed out on another world of gaming. I was lucky enough to own both the SNES and the Genesis while in their prime, and Beyond Oasis is a great RPG that should've gotten more recognition. The audio was a little annoying, but the game is very original and and solid. In answer to your problem, yeah...I know how you feel. I cried inside a little when it wouldn't go past the SEGA logo...

:icon_sad: :Cry: Well, I'm sure we'll be able to play it on the PSP someday...

Or you could always buy a Sega Nomad off of eBay...

I have a similar problem like this to my Streets of Rage 2 game, it loads, but afterwards a black screen, nothing happens, i can go back to the menu and all but still doesnt work, weird, i was using 1.10 and it worked, now using 1.20, doesnt work...

This Beyond Oasis...gotta download it, sounds good.

I'm gonna pull this up, I'm using PSPgenesis 1.8 I think it is (newest) on the tiff exploit and after the Sega logo with the voice "Segaaaaa" it comes up saying, "Developed for the use only with NTSC Genesis Systems" and goes no further. Anyone else have this problem?
