I download Aero Fighters (SNES) and Xevious (NES) and I guess they're ok but I want something really good because they get bpring fast. Like, someone can just name a popular scrolling shooter I'll try it out.

For those who don't know, a scrolling shooter is like this (^) with a vehicle (most likely a plane) on the bottom of the screen.

Also known as a vertical shooter. (Horizontal shooters move left-to-right for the most part)

Check out this lesser known title for Genesis called M.U.S.H.A. Also, the Aero Fighters games on NeoCD are solid as well for good vertical action. Pulstar on NeoCD is an amazing horizontal shooter too.

i really enjoy strikers 3, but too bad it's only for mame though.

Someone should make homebrew for Raptor, Call of the shadows. I loved that game!

Gladius III for SNES and Gladius I for nes are good ones i suppose, but i rather play Aero Fighters though...

I remember running raptor on my OLD computer. 25 mhz 1.5 megs of ram. The good ole days. I was like 4 years old lol. If I remember correctly it came with a demo of kilo blaster too. I don't think the source is released and i havn't been able to find me the full version to dowload so its not abandonware yet
