okim not sure if anyone else has done this but i got 1.30 dgen, superbock , 2.50 firmwere and i got state saving. i also have sound working on my "sonic 2" rom. if anyone neded the stare saving then dgen 1.30 is ur way to go. to make it run good, turn off all unnesscary things on it like make ur backlight weaker , getrid of theose fancy extras and so on. i play with the charger in alot so im not sure if it will work otherwise

it also goes slow on water lvls in sonic, but thats about it for sonic2. if ur able to see both the water and land on those levels then it will go normal

The PSP settings effecting the emulators' performance? I don't think so.

There must be a lot of that messed up ROM floating around, because in my version of Hydrocity it's slow too, and everything is purple for a little bit like when your underwater.

well, i kinda ment like turn the stuff on dgen a bit lower n stuff like isted of the multicolour backround, bgo wit a plain 1. get rid of all the other unnessary things. im not sure if this affects it, but it helped me a bit. also, what kind of firmwere do you have?
