It's a work-in-progress so of course it's slow.

Both are very slow... basically unplayable.

Do yourself a favor and don't use it... no sound.. no framerate increase... not worth the time.

Wait for them to some day get updated.

SNES seems to have the best PSP coverage.
Use snes9x_tyl 0.4.2 media edition (if you have 1.50), otherwise the standard release of 0.4.2
And there are masses of ROMS to choose from.

There already is a GBA emulator and DS emulation could work on a PSP.

No, a DS couldnt be emulated on the psp. GBA is possible but not that easy (reletivly, of course).

A DS has a more powerful CPU (I think) so there will probbly never be a DS emulator

DS, GBA & Saturn are all posible.

Saturn probably wont since it's a very difficult system to manage/emulate.

Ds emulators are still in their infancy (on the pc). A Ds emu is posible but it wont be as fun for some games since the touch screen would have to be simulated via the analog stick + 1 button. Yet for games like the new mario bros, thoes should be more then playable on the psp.

Gba is more then doable but nobody is really willing to put the time into making one right. While current gba emulators are slow, don't forget that early on gbc (rin) & snes (snes9x) were also really slow on the psp when first released.
