Yeah, it's just the IPS file...

As long as the actual rom file (patched or not) isn't linked, it's alright... or, as long as he doesn't say where to get the rom (which he also didn't do)...

Yes, IPS patches are fine. Distributing the actual ROM is not fine.

I can't IPS patch properly with LIPS- Mario World just comes out scrambled. Anyone know a GOOD IPS patcher?

Hmmm...lots of them out there for XP, check out Zophar's Domain.
Only ONE that works right for OS X...forget the name at the moment.

I've successfully used UIPS on GBA ROMs...should work for just about them all.

Tested it with a trainer patch for 9999 gold in Lunar and it worked.
