i am playing king of monsters and baseball stars on the neo cd and it is great but the language is in japanese. Just wondering, are there english versions for the games? or maybe and language option?

Yes they have english versions of NeoGeo CD ISO's....but where to find them I can not say.

hey are there english version to these game? Ok i got metal slug for example. now when i play the game everything on screen is english but when you go to the memory portion is the exit menu of the game, it is in japanese. Are there neo geo cd roms that are COMPLETE english. especially like baseball stars, as soon as you click timeout, everything is in japanese. Is that how they all are?

first of all they are ISOs not ROMs. :P
some were never released outside asia so it depends.
most neo geo games aren't all that text heavy anyways

The NeoGeo CD region is set by jumper/DIP in the actual system. So just like the NeoGeo carts, if you put a Japanese NeoGeo CD in a US Neo CD system, you will get the US version. And visa versa.

YoyoFR simply hasn't added a region switch to the emu yet. Once that is added, you can run your games in English. There a small number of games that only have Japanese no matter what region your system is, mainly the Mahjongs and Samurai Shodown RPG etc.

So there are no regional version of the CD games to worry about getting. Once you have a good ISO, it will work in whatever region you want providing the emulator lets you select regions.

great, thanks for the replys. I did mean to type iso I have the iso and the games i have run perfect. That is good to know, hopefully he will add it. i have googled numerous times and found the iso's but when they say it is (u) for region and it's not, i can't control that.
