sorry, but I stand by my original view, it's a free world afterall!
the emulator is still naff at stage 1.05, I didn't say I was ungrateful to ZX81 for his hard work, I know the GBA is a swine to run at speed, ZX81 deserves credit, I'd agree and take my hat off to him for his striving ambitions to get it running well.
that said, if games are unplayably ugly and take all the space up on your memory card, whats the point? their are better uses for your memory card until it works much faster with better sound and less graphical breakup.
I more than anybody hopes ZX81 cracks this one! it's a bugger! I'll keep trying his new versions to see if it runs defender at reasonable levels with good sound, until that runs well, I'll give it a wide birth.
Defender isn't an hungry game, the Mame version is 16k in size afterall!

Huh? , what psp version are you running?
Zitat von mofo09
I found that the more i increased the tick rate the slower but smoother it got, so i compensated by increasing the skip frame and it runs like a charm.[b][center]

try zx81's new version 1.06! its better and slightly faster!
just incase you didn't know ZX81 has released a new version 1.06 pspvba
try it if you find versions 1.05 way to slow!
It's not perfect by any means - but the GBA is a pig to emulate on a psp!
ZX81's version 1.06 is starting to get their, he seems hell bent on his quest to get this one upto scratch, he deserves thanx for his hard work lads!
download his new version here: http://psp-homebrew.eu/listall.php?filter=new
ZX81 we salute you!

No speed increases at all, only the option to change screen size.

Psypher could you note in the list that the second Pokemon option is better for 2.xx firmwares.Geändert von Nutterbutter (07-09-2006 um 11:52 AM Uhr)

I think either you have a REALLY bad rom site or you are using an outdated version of PSPVBA! Golden Sun, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Pokemon Fire Red, Sonic Advance all work. Also, you didn't list a setting for SFX enable, which was introduced in 1.0.5, which could mean you have an old version (or you just forgot it). Also, I'm pretty sure a lot of the other games that you put "DOES NOT WORK" for actually do work. So, I'm saying update your version to 1.0.5 if it's not there already. If it is, get better roms.
