I'm sure there is, but I searched beforehand and couldn't find a topic soley dedicated to getting the games to play at/near full blast.
Zitat von gamehunter101
There was a compatibility thread which procured a few posters to post their settings, but that was an older PSPVBA version and the speed has advanced since then (we also have new options to fiddle with); that is why I decided to start fresh instead of resurrecting the old thread.

I think we're best served to just wait for kernel mode on this one, that'll help a lot.

This emulator stinks at the moment, it's got a long way to be worthy of a mention, tried the new 1.05 version and it's still a dog.
I'm not ungrateful for the work already gone into producing it, the GBA is real challenge on the psp! but it can't even get defender or pacman running at a decent speed with sound. what hope do we have with need for speed and alike?
I have defender running near perfect on Mame4all so don't see the point
with this emulator till we get a 50 percent increase in speed and much better sound.
look at other emulators til its better!
try mamepsp or mame4all, Dgen 1.60, snes9xTYL, pspuae 0.41, or castaway 0.5
Al work much better and are much more satisfying, they offer better value for the valuable space taken up on your memory card! remember GBA roms are quite big and eat yor memory card for breakfast - something we dont mind if the games run a lot better.

delta running gba at this speed right now is a huge accomplishment, just wait til sound transfers to ME etc etc etc.

I don't like playing them at the current speed, but what ZX has done is incredible regardless.
6 months or less, and the emulator is running full speed. Book it.

how can you say it stinks? it's running most ROMs at least 40-50%. And yeah if you can get the same game running faster on another system's emulator then by all means do it, but that's not the point of a GBA emulator. It's made for GBA games. Don't be so ignorant next time.
Zitat von delta191
And my settings for Metroid Fusion:
Sound enable: yes
Skip frame: 1
Turbo mode: 0
Clock frequency: 333
ARM tick average: 3
The sound kinda sucks, but it still contributes to the game. The slowdown from the sound is hardly noticeable. With these settings, it says to be running from 80-100%.

Clock Frequency : 333
ARM tick avarage : 20
