depends on what system, but there are numerous products *hardware, usually a flasher and flash cart* out there which you can use to rip your own games.
depending on the system sometimes this hardware is pretty hard to come by. list what system youre looking for, and ill give my recommendation.

Ummm, it's perfectly legal to own or purchase hardware to back-up your on ROMS. The Supreme Court ruled in Sony's favor when they were sued over the Betamax.
Kind of ironic huh. Sony made most of their money making a device to do what they don't want people to be allowed to do.

Hey Cronos1388 you make a very good, and amusing point; but hey, (off topic) did you also notice that with a stock xbox you could rip music cd's directly to the hard drive and select your albums from a list on screen - yet when we started modding our xbox's and began ripping the games to the hard drive aswell, Microsoft went ape $hitt.
They helped us rip music right from the start and they didn't mind because it was content that other companies had spent time and money on but when it was their own........
Companies like sony and microsoft have so much money they don't have to follow their own rules while they expect us to, they must think we're bloody idiots. :Argh:

actually ms put checks in the xbox to make sure you are ripping a REAL cd, not a burned one. just like with games its perfectly legal to rip digital music files of your own.
