has anyone played Command And Conquer on the genesis emulator? i couldnt fully figure out the controls, and is there no music or is it just me?

There both RTSs...anyway, the original CNC is pretty slim compared to starcraft-even though CNC was considered the first "real" RTS.

Oh, and wikipedia says the genesis didn't have CNC:

i have the rom and i played it on the Dgen emulator...thats weird.

its *cough* a beta version...
no and it doesent work, it was an really early build, probably only to test if the engine would run on a genesis ( you can only scroll around the map)
thats the only version that is, to my knowledge is out
however, c&c is also on 64, but it sucks big time... would rather go for the psx version

for snes, there is "power monger" an rts, but i cant figure out the controls for it.

If you are looking for an RTS try dune 2. Made by the same people who went on to make command and conquer and has similar gameplay. I believe it is considered the first RTS.

dune2? then there has to be a dune1 to be the first rts :)

GOD I love Red Alert!


Now what would REALLY make it super cool would be online multiplayer. I think that's the Nintendo DS's main advantage over the PSP is the online multiplayer.

although I hear its do-able through xlink-kai but it sounds laggy and unpopular.

hey wait, i have, but it seems that this is like in some.. primitives stages at the moment. i dono, i would prefer a working psx emu and c&c && RA on it, which is quite full and everything
