Save state help... (Reward inside)

Hey everybody,

I was playing Super Mario RPG on SNES9X the other day (0.4.2 ME edition), and when I went to save state, I accidentally hit "export save state" or something like that and accidentally chose my MAIN SUPER MARIO RPG SAVE! The savestate no longer loads, giving me an error concerning this type of save state's format.

Anyway, I need help making this playable because I've already had to start over twice. :\

Also, about the note in the topic (Reward Inside), if anyone can help, you'll get a free sig or avatar on the house. :dj: Just a small reward for something that I would much appreciate.

Why dont you just import the savestate? If its exported, then it can be imported.

what kind of file or format is the exported save state?

Sounds like a problem.. better make back-ups of your saves next time just in case.. :

somethings wrong with mine too. i save, both in game, and a save state, but it doesn't load neither.

It says not in SNES9x freeze format. :\

Oh well, guess it's time to delve back in...

You could still play on the computer if you got that far. You exported it for a computer emulator.

Yeah, I realized that.

I wonder if I opened it in the computer SNES 9X, and then did a "freeze frame" save state like the PSP emulator requires, then save it, then import it in the PSP version, if it would work.
