Converting .fds to .rom?
I'd like to play Doki Doki Panic.fds on NesterJ, but I don't think .fds is supported and I havent had any luck finding anything to convert. (yes I searched google for quite some time)
I was wondering if anyone knew how to play these famicom disk system files or if it was even possible to convert or play them at all?
any help would be appreciated

you don't have to convert it , it should work perfectly fine with nesterj
you have to have the FDS bios for it to work though. Now Playing

Trigun is correct. just look on google for the fds bios and put it in the root of the nes directory. fds emulation is great with nesterj. i believe ive only come across a couple that dont work. *i do know for a fact that doki doki works.*

i prefer fds games over regular nes games for 1 reason. game saving. the original selling points for the famicom disk system was it was cheap *games were bought/flashed at kiosks* and the disks ment it was now possible to save. they didnt develop a way to save games until later on, which is why many nintendo games use a password, and the games that did save used a battery to retain the save.
of course through emulation we have save states, but it so much nicer to do it in game.
