    Standard Is it possible to trick a rom into thinking another rom is another gamer?

    I'm bored of Pokemon Red because I beat so I plan to transfer my creatures over to a Pokemon Silver rom. Is it possible to trick the Pokemon Silver rom into thinking my Pokemon Red rom is a different game so I can trade creatures into it?

    just use an emulator on the computer, some have the linking ability
    and silver can already trade with Red, you just have to get the Time capsule

    no, i mean you have to load your saved game on an emulator on the comp with linking ability
    but silver and gold is made to trade with Red and Blue

    I know that much! The problem is getting the computer to THINK Pokemon Red is another player. I know Red can trade with Silver.
