Alrighty...so I was browsing around ROM sites trying to find [!] labeled ROMs, so that I might get the best dump, and hopefully inprove the speed on some, if even by the slightest bit.

I managed to find a good resource, and replaced all the ROMs I had...and that's 83 of them.

So I loaded SNES again, and loaded a game, to see "Error while loading rom".

Can someone help me with this?

And please don't tell me I have to download all those ROMs again...that was a task enough the first time, and it's hard finding legit ROM sites nowadays.

maybe those ROMs were messed up still?

or maybe u have too many ROMs of your MS at the same time

try them out on the PC first with snes9xW to make sure they're not bad ;)

I have 189, and they load just fine (and that rhymes

Loaded them with ZSNES AND, Snes9x, no prob.

I just downloaded a different [!] ROM for Mario RPG and it's working so....I guess the worst is true, I have to download it all again...

yea i miss that to i hate the porn ads how can they do that :Argh: my bro is12 and when he is going to get any roms i have to be with him

just so he wont see porn but its for the best :o

could this rom be a certain title that could also be called "last story 6" if you were to change the title if you know what i'm getting at? because there are a lot of bad copies of that rom floating around. by bad I mean dont work with psp emulators, they might work with the pc ones

Well if your problem was that you lost savefiles on all games you replaced with [!], then the problem would be you`d have to rename them to match with the [!] name. But thats not your problem so yea... I never had problems with tyl42ME so I dunno how to help ya there :/

It's cool, I'm currently in the process of getting all my ROMs back plus a few more. I just found a new website that is a GRREAAT resource for [!] dumps, but unforunately it only allows 30MBs in a day, so it's gonna take me awhile.

But eh, what are ya gonna do seeing as all my favorite emu sites are now bombarded with ads or are no longer existant.

And google FAILS horribly at finding ROMs nowadays.

The end is near...

i know a GREAT site for ROMs all the way up to N64 that has no adds whatsoever, allows unlimited downloads a day, no stupid porn signs, and is nice and clean.....but i cant tell you guys lol

Believe me, I miss those days too. The emulation "scene" has been a bit slow the past few years. My first taste of emulation was running SNES9x on my Pentium 120 and playing Chrono Trigger on it back in '97. Sigh..I could also remember the day when UltraHLE first came out and all the controversey that started because of it. CPS2 came about a year later after razoola (or someone else) figured out the decryption algorithm. ROM begging was at a climax during those years.

As for using [!] based dumps, I don't think it offers any speed boost albeit their great integrity. Non [!] based dumps should work just as fast, so I wouldn't even bother re-downloading your ROMs. I don't know why your [!] ROMs don't work, I can't help you with that. There are alternatives to downloading ROMs; you can always try usenet and bittorrent as opposed to good ol' fashioned ROM sites that pretty much don't exist anymore.

The only problems i've been having with mine's is the fact that i cant save state or load state, if i save state, and than load state, what would happen is there would be no sound....

btw, i have like 77 snes roms in my psp.
