found out how to run alot of gba roms in full speed
put frame skip on 2, and put turbo/speed hack or whatever its called on 2. And turn sound off. Warioland 3, klonoa games, ninja 5 o, sonic battle, and alot of games run good in these settings. Megaman zero 4 (or it mgiht have been 3) ran good for awhile in this but I was tinkering alot with settings and it almost stopped after awhile. But most games seem to work well with those two settings set at 2 and no sound. Now all we need is another 15 percent speed increase and it should be good to go (beside kingdom eharts of course).

If someone would code it with dynamic recompiling, full speed would be a much easier thing to achieve.

Yah.. been tried. Most games didn't run full speed or even close to it. Tough luck.

Was that post really necessary? Save your fanboy antics for the DS forum. Please.
Anyway, thanks for the info, this will hold me over until my DS flashcart arrives XD

Doh, see? You're succumbing to the dark side...
Zitat von NINJ4
Seriously though, for those of you with BOTH a PSP and DS (or GBA), just buy an el cheapo GBA flashcart. It will save you a lot of headaches.
For those with just a PSP...suffer until our favorite little GBA emu coder gets things running faster.
Just remember to always keep sound OFF to speed things up.

Beats me, I don't operate in GBP only in Euros and US dollars.

I think I paid about $60 for my EFA Linker II brand-new when it first came out.

I would hardly consider this PSPVBA to run fast enough to be enjoyable in any respect.
$20 = Used GBA. If you can't even afford that, you really shouldn't have picked video games as a hobby.
Edit: Payed $100 for my 256m EZFA. That was 3 years ago though.

if you make the frameskip above the turbo it will glitch or the grpahics will start fading.

mario vs dk sucks with any setting lol, and sonic advance 1 or 2 as well as the megaman zero games run like crap too which is surprising as they have worse graphics than game slike warioland.Geändert von Strangler (08-04-2006 um 12:49 PM Uhr) Grund: Automerged Doublepost

setting turbo above 2 causes graphical anamolies on most games, keep that in mind.

cool maybe ill actually try it out heh
-

when I fixed my settings I noticed that the turbo mode just allows more tearing instead of waiting for a complete draw and ****$ up some games horribly even at 3.
Really, I'd just like to know ftw arms is???
then I could edit my settings a lot smoother
