Anyone else notice the irony that the symbol for Chinese is the copyright logo?

Being that they are Maoist Communists and there are no Copyrights like in Capitalist countries.

Well it wasn't intended as humour so I expect it would hurt if you are trying to see at such.

Excuse my ignorance but by that post do I take it capitalist's are all about money and communist's are not??

that would sort of explain the mysteries of america's strange idea that money is the most important thing in the "world"..... (ermm not meaning that in a racist way)

sorry off topic I know

Well Bilko yes and no. Now I love the Chinese and Chinese culture and sure many aspects of "Communism" (that being the Marx & Engals ideology) are fantastic utopian in nature.

But the perversion that is Maoist Communism is a horrible totalitarian oppressive hell.

America may be obssesed with money and materialism but at least they are free (well, freer).

I just thought it was kinda ironic as they have no copyrights there (thats why you can get Chinese DVD sets a LOT cheaper as anyone can make them).

I wonder if it was chosen intentionaly.

I'm a little confused. You said that those with a [!] are error free but then you said to look out for them. That sounds like you saying to avoid them. Why would you want to advoid it if it was error free?

And I don't know what you mean by good dump.

look out for them = those are the ones to look for above others.
bad dump = ROM is known not to be working properly.

Nah it's just an unlicensed release (homebrew/pirate).

IE. Rockman X3 (Unl) [!] for the Sega Genesis. This was a SNES only release thus this version/pirate/rip-off is unlicensed.

What does PRG0 mean? I have it on one of my roms, (castlevania for the NES)
along with U and ! So is this is a good one or should I take the other one that just has E? (The rom site that I download from gives you a whole bunch of hacks and different versions of the roms when you download the game)

Thanks to anybody who answers.

It's just a ROM that has a number of revisions, PRG0 and PRG1 for example. As long as they have a [!] they are perfect.

(E) Just means the European PAL release.
