Uber Rare CPS-2 Game Wanted!

Im not asking where it is, but has anyone ever seen this rom about? I've checked everywhere, and am beginning to think its the rarest rom out there. Maybe because it only came out in 2004, and its a CPS-2 game! I want's it.

why would they make a street fighter 2 clone in 2004? whats new about it?

It has all the modes and characters of all the Super Street Fighter games. I've been looking for it everywhere, but can't seem to find it.

Edit: Found it, but it doesn't work. Neither the converter nor the emu recognize the filename, and I don't think XORs have been released yet. So I don't think you can emulate it.

Its not in MAME, so - it hasn't been dumped.

The game is not in MAME because the XOR file has not been released yet. The rom sets has been dumped but good luck getting it to work without the XOR file. There are two sets of the game because it was only released in Asia and Japan so with that being set, the ASIA set is the parent rom set while the JAPAN set is the clone set. The rom sets has been dumped and been out ever since the game came out in the arcades. The only way you will get your little hands on it is by finding it on newsgroups. Besides, even if you do find it, like I said there is no XOR to make it work. I believe there is an unwritten rule between emulator devs to not make any newer arcade games officially supported in their emulator until after at least three years of the game coming out to the arcades. You might as wait till next year to see if it is officially supported in MAME or not. If you really want to play it that bad, just buy it for the XBOX or PS2.

The Street Fighter Hyper Anniversary game is alright on Xbox and it is cool to vs other SF characters from other series but it is no match for the later SF series. Like SFAlphas, and SFIII why not just play those games. You can get SFIII with the SF Anniversary game on xbox as well

Are you asking about the rom set for Marvel Vs Capcom 2? Supposely one does exist but it's really no use. MVC2 is a CPS3 game, the CPS3 system is a combo of a cart and CD. The CD is the game files itself while the cart is the security factor in the arcade system. The CPS3 is impossible to emulated because the security factor is impossible to crack, many CPS3 JAMMA boards have been killed in the process of trying to dump CPS3 games. Just get MVC2 for either the Dreamcast or XBOX or PS2. But many gamers do prefer the DC version because it's suppose to be the arcade perfert port to any know home console.
