How to put cheats/use cheats on the SNES 9x Emulator

How do u put the cheats/or use cheats on the SNES emulator

I have the latest one, 4.2

and was wondering how to do the cheats

What I heard was that it has an outdated cheat system so most cheats dont work. No cheats ever work for me.

ya, i tried some cheats, it didnt work, so which cheats would work?

99% wont I quess, unless you find a site with cheats for the outdated cheat system, which would take ages and theres no point. Just wait for a new release of snes9x TYL.

Try Gamewinners or Gamefaqs, but it is a waste. It uses a very last minute and outdated cheat device. It was a quick bonus feature before release, but the next version will have better support.

Why would another come out hat has he got to fix except for the cheat system?

hopefully the next release have a better cheat system, faster fps, faster sound, and hopefully the SAVE STATE and LOAD STATE bug is fixed..lol

anyways, does anyone know when the next release is scheduled to be released?

Faster how fast do you want it i agree with the sound but its fast enough trust me!

In certain games:

Yoshi's Island
Kirby's Super Star
Kirby's Dreamland 3
Chrono Trigger
Donkey Kong Country
Super Mario RPG

333 mhz makes the gamespeed smooth, however i want conserve battery life and the best way is to make the cpu mhz to 222 as much as possible, i do that with all games, mixed up the settings to make the game run as smooth and fast but with less battery usage.

The games listed above are impossible to play in 222 mhz, 266 makes it better but 333 mhz makes it run perfectly smoothly. This includes in sound too for some reason
