gpSP: 0.6 Compatibility Thread

Boktai 2 crashes on me when I try it on the regular and alt version, it's probably just my rom, and Advance Wars runs terribly on both versions as well and I downloaded a good dump too, hm, maybe I'm not doing something right. D: EDIT: Nevermind, Advance Wars works, I guess ya need v. 1.0 and not 1.1, huzzah.

Demi Kids Dark and Light versions (U) both crashes when you start a new game. It looks like it could be fixed.

Shining Force - Resurrection of the Dark Dragon (U) works well.
Battle B-Damon (U) works good

Alright, Shining Force - Resurrection of the Dark Dragon (U) is not playable because of invisible walls, it's the same problem the Minish Cap had before.

I'm glad to say that Sigma Star Saga (U) works so far.

Mario v.s. Donkey Kong (U) - On the 2nd world when your playing the mini mario level the mini marios are unable to jump on the spring to allow you to complete this level thus making it unplayable from there.

Wolfenstien 3D runs well in latest (0.7) sound is a bit off but corrected when the frameskip is set to 1

Tomb Raider - The Prophecy doesn't work, crashed when you load it.
Doom II - Loads, see gameboy screen, then only black.
SSX Tricky - Working, need a high frameskip, as much as 6-8, still quite slow, barely playable
Who wants to be a Millionaire - Working, Frameskip at 0, no problems
Rhythm Tengoku - Working, no frameskip, no problems

Note: All of these were done with gPSP 0.7

minish cap crashes at the boss of the temple of droplets, it crashes randomly during the battle. I am not sure what causes it?

it crashes during the boss in the ice but there is a way to get past this. first hit all 3 boulders at the boss. then when u have to light his tail on fire go near the tail and light it and then turn the light off. make sure the fire isnt long just for the sec u light his tail. then when the room gets all dark just run around in the dark and then it will get light again. then just hit him with 3 boulders and the boss is defeated.

Does anyone know how to get the HMs to work on Pokemon Leafgreen? I'm pretty stuck without being able to use them.

I've tested some games here and there and hopefully it wasn't mentioned yet, here are my results of games that did not work XD (I made the tests with the Alternate gpsp with lower speed but more compatibility!)

Mario Party | Crash
Donkey Kong - King of Swing | Crash
Mario vs. Donkey Kong | I think it runs good but there is a glitch, which doesn't allow the minimarios to jump on the bumber in the second world!
Megaman battle Network | Chrashes with a "Bad something" error if you want to enter the secret Base.
Mario & Luigi - Superstar saga | Crashes while changing into Battle.

Hm I think this is it so far, every game I wanted to play but didn't work ^^
Dont worry I've got many other games (like 40 or something like that XD)
which work fine and I love it XD

i think you have to change the Rom Save KB to 128 in order to save pokemon games from the FireRed or Leafgreen series...since Chaosblack is a hack of those two games.

Got the new gpsp 0.8, heres wat i got:
kingdom hearts works, but crashes near beggining of "FMV"
haven't triedloading a save yet, ill get back as soon as ive tried it!

Tried loading the save now, and it works 100%! (except for the fmv, ofcourse) not sure if it'll run through the other ones that come later in the game though. I'll let u guys know!
