dont forget duke nukem advance...that game has serious graphical problems.
Code:# Virtual Kasparov (U)
game_name = VIRTKASPAROV
game_code = AVKE
vender_code = 60
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 0800093a
holy crap! Excellent job fatcamp, thank you very much for all those!
i took the trouble of adding all the idle loop eliminations to my game_config.txt (in the first post and any other ones posted in this thread), and i'll post it here for the ease of anyone else who wants a complete one :Punk:
thx i needed that saved me ten pages of work, haha :D
Can I get some help? I'm not sure if I have the config stuff right.
Do I just add the stuff like Fat Camp adds to my config? Also, I guess I should rename my ROMs or my config file's name, right? And don't add .gba? If you could help me with this stuff, I would really appreciate it.
Looking everywhere for a Advanced Wars 2 (U). I currently have (E) version and it gives me a headache at how slow it goes. Any help with it as I search for the (U) ver.?
here's one for the euro:
-= Double Post =-Code:# Advance Wars 2 - Black Hole Rising (E)
game_name = ADVANCEWARS2
game_code = AW2P
vender_code = 01
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 080371be
again some fs is still needed here.Code:# Bookworm (U)
game_name = BOOKWORM
game_code = BKWE
vender_code = 5G
idle_loop_eliminate_target = 0800397c
This would be easiest if someone got back to me so I could work these into the official game_config.txt... also, so I can check the entries to make sure they're games that idle loop.
check out my completed game_config.txt file attached to my last post a little higher up this page. BTW i just updated it to include the two fatcamp added in his last post. I don't know how good the eliminations are since i simply added anything that was posted in this thread, so you'd have to test them. I'd like to see your testing results and the new improved game_config.txt if you change anythingZitat:
Zitat von ********
unless you're seeing similar threads in other forums, in which case i'd like to see them and add them (i'm a completist you know). Enjoy!
BTW you rock and gpSP is my new favorite emulator on psp!!! :Punk:
I don't understand this:
Darklink, in your config file, you have "Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (U)"
Yet, you cannot put colons in file names. Should I alter the config file? I already tried that, but the game crashed on me.
I really could use some help with this stuff. :\
it doesn't matter what's in the game name since those lines are comments (indicated by the # at the beginning of the line) and are completely ignored by the emulatorZitat:
Zitat von volsfan91
EDIT: actually, don't change it at all since even ******** used colons in the default config (example: Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land (U)). As i said, it makes absolutely no difference. You can name your rom crap.gba for all it matters
I just want to say a big thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread and also to those finding the idle loops to add to the config file, it is great and is exactly what I was looking for. Also thanks to ******** for creatining such a great emulator, it is simply amasing!!
i wonder what happened to ******** since his last post in this thread. Does he want someone to email him or what? Unless he's busy working on his GREAT emulator. Also, ********, sorry for referring to you in the third person if you're still reading this thread
I added all of the ones on the front page, in addition to the ones I've added since the last version I have a little over 60. Hopefully they're all good, although some of them look a little suspect - can anyone tell me why FFIV has an idle loop hack?
Anybody find a fix for Mario Party Advance?
PS: ********, did you finish the savestates yet?
Is the a code for something to help fix the sound in Pokemon Fire Red?
Sound? My Pokemon FireRed sound is normal.Zitat:
Zitat von Terror-X
What's up with your sound?
Yes and no respectively. I'd probably be closer to finishing savestates if I had started savestates :PZitat:
Zitat von Xandu6a
Turn off iwram_stack_optimize for MPA.
I PMed you about it. But at times the sound is choppy. Mostly during battle.Zitat:

ohhh hi ******** i have a question. Do you know when 32 megabyte gba roms will work?
Add this for Mario Party Advance (E). Thanks ********!Code:# Mario Party Advance (E)
game_name = MARIOPARTYEU
game_code = B8MP
vender_code = 01
iwram_stack_optimize = no
Hey,
First I'd like to say thanks for such a great emulator.
Then I'd like to know if anyone else has that Summon Night problem where the emulator randomly crashes during a fight starting with the Chaves fight at the magic guild. Is it possible to get a fix? I tried with different framerates, tried using no moves, did everything but it just crashes at a different time everytime.
If you could do something I would be very grateful,
Thanks
uhmm, i think ******** stopped looking at this thread for a while now :(
Summon Night crashed for me when I smacked the green guy in the back with a fire-sword... Oh but I have gotten Zelda: Minish Cap to being able to cut trees and bushes, as well as play Megaman Zero & Battlenetwork without that weird problem... Must say, Zelda is fuuunnnn.... Oh and all my configurations are saved now, know more switching when booting up everytime...
so how did you get link to cut trees/bushes?
Yeah, I would like to know too, please. Same with the MMBN thing.
If I were you I'd just ignore SG57 :P
hey ur back ********! :Jump:
lol SG57 ur full of such crap, nothing but a fix in the emulator's source code would get rid of that bug :down:
also i added that elimination Xandu6a posted to my complete game_config.txt (fatcamp and SeikenZ deserve most credit since i just compiled all their eliminations)
when is the fix for zelda to cut trees gonna come out?
hey ********:
i love your emu..its the most amazing thing ive seen out for the PSP except for like iRshell
but i just have a simple request and question:
Why dont any DonkeyKong roms work? And is it possibile to fix this error?
