1.5 emus...

I just wanted to know which emulator is compatible with psp 1.5... because I downloaded the snes9x emu but when ever I start it on my psp it says that the game cannot be started... and a error number comes out...I dont get it.. which emus are compatible with 1.5..? help me please......

all emulators are compatable with 1.5 i belive. you just have to use the kxploit program to install them.

Umm...I know you might get insulted by this, but did this SNES emu SAY it worked for the PSP, or did you just download a SNES PC emu and assumed it'll work with the PSP?

Use this link to download a version of Snes9X that is already set up for 1.5 use. Just unzip it and then copy its contents to PSP/GAME and all will be fine. Please in future actually read the stickies and our ultimate FAQ, all of your questions would have been answered in there. I am being way too leniant here, so think yourself lucky, I must be going soft in my old age.

Somepeople have made some pretty stupid mistakes involving just putting any ole' program in the PSP. Although i can't remember where it is, somewhere on this site there's a guy who couldn't get a web browser on his PSP, even after he copyed all his Firefox files to his PSP! :wall:

And I remember when the fake money island came out before 1.00 hello world, some guy claimed he was playing all his pc games, diablo etc on his psp. Just said copy.

Wasn't here though, on the official playstation forums.

Normal Snes roms will run just fine.

Very sorry to hear that man. Currently, there is no way to change it, but wait, the Dev's will have something for you. Give it time.

Anyway, to answer your questions:

Devs = Developers
Yes, currently, many people are working on a Downgrade, including people on this very forum.
People are not likely to make emulators for 1.51, as it doesn't run unsigned code.
