i know alot of people have asked this question but i havent seen an answer.what rom version are people using to make it run 100 percent???the mode 7 one crashes and the european one i was using is slow.any help?

I'm using the US Mode 7 @ 64 MBit and it works perfectly on frameskip 1
Have you updated your game_config.txt to eliminate the idle loop?

thank you but my mode 7 us rom keeps crashing.(do you have the one that says intro hack?)also i tryed the european one and thats still slow.do i need to name the rom the same as the name in the config????and when you say it runs perfect you mean absolutely perfect right?

Yes, it runs perfect on frameskip 1. I'm playing through it right now. And i don't like playing roms that don't run properly!
The version i'm using has ID 1060

I got the exact one thqat your info says but im still getting the same crappy speed it was called advance wars 2 (U)(Mode 7)

Hmmm...can't be the ROM since that EXACT same one runs perfectly on both the EFA LInker II and Supercard mini-SD I have.
Just give the devs some time to speed things up in later releases of the emulator.

no the mode 7 doesnt run at all well mine doesnt it crashes in the mode 7 screen startup

Thank god, I found a patch that removes the mode 7 logo screen

I'm glad I found this site because most roms wont load with the mode 7 logo or any other logo like it. This site has patches that removes them from roms

thanks man, im going to test all three patches now. thanks alot!!!

EDIT: they ALL work so go ahead and use any of the three for black hole rising and ur good.

ya thanks but it also works if you get a "specific rom"
