Is it just my or do most of the SNES games run poorly on they PSP.
I can get them to run at a correct speed, but it seems like just about every game I have played on it, has some problem. Kirby Superstars for instance always has these black boors running through the screen, when you move too fast. Super Mario Kart has a problem, where you can't see the bottom of the screen. And many other games have problems just like these. Is it just me, or are other people experiencing this?

lol, yeah I know... i'm like "you can't possibly talk as bad as you type"... use comma's people...
Zitat von thecheeks
but any way, there's a chance you have transparency on, in some of those cases... make sure that's off, because i've found that that helps most of those situations...
WHOA!!! right when I typed the word "Situations", this dude in my song said it... like perfectly in sync... it was wierd :shifty:
P.S... o, it also may be that you have a bad ROM...[B]Girl, just call me the gamecock, because when you beat it on hard, you get the special ending.
They call her a ho, and you hope to god it was true...
'Cause see, a ho f*cks everybody... And a bitch f*cks everybody but you.

Many of us speak other language rather than English, don't get over excited, is like if I told you to learn correct German or Spanish before posting. I know my English isn't perfect but at least I know 3 languages.

I think those are common problems. SNES emulation still is on an early stage of development, spect to see progress in the future.
Zitat von darthjedi123
I remember the days when the ZSNES team proudly announced support for Mario Kart, took long to get where we are, development is faster nowdays because all you have to do is port and optimize... All thanks to Open Source

No complaints here, however what I would suggest is on your user options indicate which country you are based from by using the location setting. This way, users won't get riled at your English as they will know your not just some dumb American 10 year old. Sorry for the stereotype, but it seems like this place is littered with illiterate people.

well, this is an english board, so if your going to speak it, speak it right... I wouldn't go in to a spanish board, and butcher there language, and expect help... I would either a)make sure I got it right or b)look for help elsewhere...
Zitat von fa65bfh
but more reason than any, when people start talkin' in jibberish, it makes it hard to help them...[B]Girl, just call me the gamecock, because when you beat it on hard, you get the special ending.

Really, your one to speak, this is your native language yet he can use much better grammar than you. Sorry, but you are flaming this guy unnecessarily. Remember, put a capital at the start of each sentence. If this guy leaves these boards because of comments like yours then I will be forced to ban you. He made a great effort to type in a foreign language and he did it better than you do when you type in your native language, so shut up.
Zitat von DaddyFatSacz
Edit:
Errors in your statement include:
- Remember to start your sentences with a capital letter
- Spanish, needs a capital letter
- You never used a single full stop in your whole rant
In conclusion, this guy has a much better grasp of the English language than you do.

You uderstood him didn't you? Don't be elitist, we all are here getting news and posting no matter the nationality and we try to do so in English, seems fair enough to me.

Wow, I'm sick of people that try to flame people because of a couple grammar or punctuation errors. By the way, I'm full blood american, white, and I'm sixteen years old. So fricken what, if accidently made a typing error. Maybe you should start your own video game board, where everyone is perfect. :naughty:

The only reason I felt the need to correct DaddyFatSacz's grammar, is because he flamed a fellow forum member for poor grammar. The aim was to stop DaddyFatSacz from flaming and hopefully it worked.

I dont know about you, but for most of my non-RPG's, i can get them to run near perfect at 222 with trans off and 3 FS and sound off or at 11."God and the pigeons are one. Trust the pigeons" -Killer7
"can it kill the grimace?"
"NOTHING can kill the Grimace"-Clerks-the animated series

Fer sher... I've got a college degree in english, and while I hate to read posts composed with terrible gramar, I am not in a up and gusting mood to correct it... If I wanted to do that, I would go and get my teaching degree....

which part, my intentional misspelling of "For Sure," or the teaching degree, or the fact that, despite the fact that I have an English degree, I still can't spell for crap, or the fact that I have an English degree in the first place?
All are very funny, until you get to where I am and can't seem to land a real job.

set clock to 333 and frame skip to 2-3. The only games this doesnt work with is the superfx games, aka star fox *cries*.

New snes emu
I just downloaded snes9xTYL-0.1 for the breif period I have left with my psp for a few days while it gets replaced from dead pixels coating my screen!! :boohoo:
seems to be good but runs slower than uo_Snes9x 0.02pd1 and is alot less stable... its default rate is 222mhz while the other older emu runs at 333 quite well while using little battery power, also has a currupt data block upon launch but running the SeiPSPtool to fix this made it crash?? My advise is that dont try and run newer snes games just stick to oldies, if its slow use the frame skip option up to 4 or so and turn the sound to 11hz or OFF and that should fix some probs but gfx glitches will be fixed in due time thanks to our dev friends who do a really good job with homebrew emus!!
