Clear your .ZIP of any other files other than the .gba one.

A lot of the downloaded roms come with release information and crap, which crashed my gpSP. Might've been a coincidence, but I took those unnecessary files out and it now works.

It could also be the way the zip file is compressed. Might be too compressed or something.

I noticed winzip created .zip with default settings failed to load. Winrar with compression at normal works every time for me.

I just tested this theory and so far it is working fine. I have also found that using Winrar on zip compression best works but if I use Winzip for any compression, normal or best it does not work.

mine doesn't work in zips, but for some starnge reason they work in RARs... (I use 7-Zip)

confusing, but it doesn't bother me. try renaming your .zip's to .rar and try it. or, if all else fails, try UNZIPPING THEM.
