Why are we allowed to talk about roms, but not iso's? Arent roms illegal also?
there is probably a thread on this i'll find the link.

Cant find it but im sure there is a post going over the rules baisacally you cant link to ROMS or ISOS and you cant post tips on how to get ISOs running on your psp but you can about ROMS.
there is no posting of Rom links and Roms are treated exactly like ISOs

People are allowed to ask questions about roms, I'm pretty sure there's a rule that says "no questions about iso's". If you would like to prove me wrong find me a thread.
I think it's because iso's hurt the psp's software business. Making future development less likely.
also roms are legal if you have the actual game but isos are dumps from the game
right?
Depending on country, but the original copy has to be broken and not usable.Zitat:

This is not only a legallity issuse, but the owners of the site dont support the pirating of psp games so they have chosen not to allow discussion on this forum.
Yes, isos are also legal if you legitamitely back them up or delete them within 24 hours of downloading if you do not own the game.Zitat:

No, that 24 hour rule is some made up crap by iso sites to try and protect their ass's, and depending on where you live it may be illegal just to backup your game because to do so you need to circumvent copyright protection.
