Using gbPSP? I try to save in game and I get a "Error" and of course there's no save states, so i'm wondering...is there any way?

Try a different version of the rom or different site, some are bad dumps. Make sure the name has (!) in it. Also, in the menu, try changing the savetype (if you can).

just use the in built save feature of pokemon. i do and it works fine

press triangle then press right change save type to 128kb

Well I know where I would be, haha back at square one. Still not letting me use the in game save as I get : "ERROR, Please Exchage backup memory" with a new ROM and using 128 mode

. Maybe it's because im playing Pokemon Fire Red? What one are you guys using?
