Not sure if this is known already but i just found out for roms like marvel vs capcom and other games on CPS2 that require both the euro and us version of the rom you can download the mane version of it which is alot smaller size and it still works the same. Just downloaded the us version of mame marevl vs capcom and its only 1.9mb giving me 22mb back. Just a good way to save some space for more roms and homebrew

Ya this does work. Try it yourself evil ryu 14.Your still gonna need the euro cps 2 rom of the game so this just helps get the us version at a much smaller size which is only needed for xmen vs street fighter and mvc since they require both us and euro roms to play. Ima test out and see if this works for all games that are on both mame and cps 2.

Yep this is a GREAT tip. Im unsure of what roms need what combination regions to run but i know that any rom that needs a clone will work the smaller mame roms as a substitute.
