I'm guessing you mean is it better to have a PS1 emulator than an N64 emulator. I'd say yes, since the DualShock controller didn't come out for the PS1 until around 98/99, so many games would be playable without the need for the 2nd right analog stick. I guess the only controller problem would be the L2 and R2 buttons

i guess you could have something that allows you to push 2 buttons at once to act as on like for the R2 you could have R and O and for L2 you could have L and d-pad left. I would just want to play games like tenchu 2 matt hoffmans pro bmx army men ect...

I have to go against public opinion here. What could be better than a portable Ocarina of Time? The control schemes for PSOne and N64 are, I think, about as ard to code as each other. Both are remedied with multiple button pressings, though it might be easier in the N64 (personal opinion) for there are no square and triangle buttons, meaning you can hit this one first and no visible effect in game would not happen intil you pressed the second button. But then again, time depression for L and R would work for the PSOne emulator.

N64 Emu Would Be Awesome ... I'm Just Concerned About Buttons ...
I Know There Is Enough Of Them ... But Remembering Which Is Which ... I Guess I Could Get The Hang Of It But I'm Too Stubborn ... psONE Emulator Idea - You Could Make It So That L1 + O = L2 And R1 + O = R1 ... |

We'd miss much more than just the Z button. The N64 controller has 6 face buttons, L, R, Z, A D-Pad, and an analog stick. PSP has 4 face buttons, L, R, a D-Pad, and analog nub. Now, we'd be missing 3 buttons. What I'd do, if I were coding an emulator, is I'd drop the D-Pad use, since mos N64 games didn't use it. I'd use the D-Pad for the C buttons, and then I'd have 2 extra face buttons to work with. I'd make one of them Z, then use the other for anything else (enter the emulator's menu?)
