Tryed them on my comp, works fine, unfortunately when I downloaded them into my PSP, no luck on VBA! Tried EVERYTHING!!!
Also a ROM hack of Sapphire, PKMN: CB (will not release the real name/link) works just fine...! What the heck? Nothing works! Any suggestions? I WANT PIRACY GOODNESS!!!:PC: j/k seriously though, HELP!!!

well, got the file, tried every single one. Emerald doesn't start up because its a 32 mb.
Sapphire is 16 mb, no such luck for some reason...
Ruby was flat out mega lagging... :0
Emerald works fine for me in both emulators.

Dude, screw VBA and use GpSp.
GpSP has better:
ROM Compatability
Sound
Speed
but doesn't have savestates so you have to save just as if you were playing the game normaly.
While gpsp is a hell of lot better (hell its what I use), vba has better rom compatibility.Zitat:

Dont let me confuse you though, gpsp is definetly the way to go(again what i use), but whilst its rom compatibility isnt as good as vba (ie a few games will crash, like sword of mana), all the pokemon games should run at full speed with a frameskip of about 1

For Pokemon Emerald do any of you get a error that says "the internal clock has been disabled and realtime events wont work"??????
of course, its normal because there is no internal battery when you play it on the psp, the only thing that affects this is the fact that no berries can be grown, also some pokemon like wurmple's ultimate evolve form may evolve randomly because the game doesnt keep time...
Can you fix it? I want my berries...

well they would of found a way now, but the problem also exists in the pc emulators as well.
there is a 5 mb rom for emerald out there which is perfect for the gbsp. i know cuz i have it:Jump: i dont know if this will work but try zpping the emerald to get it to work
my zipped Emerald is 5 mb so it doesnt matter for me, as long as its not 16 mb lol
How would that make things different? The rom still needs to be unpacked before you can play it.. Packing them only saves space.Zitat:

i think he did, but that was with the Gold/Silver/Crystal and since it was in the GBC, i'm sure its much different from the GBA
