2 doesn`t crash the emulator when you talk to a net dealer? Maybe its my rom or the config.txt then.. Copy/paste w`e it says about MMBN2 in the config if it does.Zitat:

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance works perfectly. Set Frameskip to 1 for better sound and animation speed. (:
Pokemon Emerald runs perfectly at frameskip set to 0, set to 1 for any slowdowns in battle animations. (So far none to me)
Advance Wars 2 runs perfectly at frameskip set to 1, set to 2 if it slows down when there're dialogues in battle scenes.
Jet Set Radio and Jet Grind Radio need frameskip at 4 at least, for better sound, frameskip needs to be at 5.
Save in Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevanio Aria of Sorrow (both european) is not working for me in 0.7 (tested the two versions of 0.7).
It worked in 0.6. Is someone experiencing the same problems?
Yes, I think it has something to do with the save type/size autodetection. I hear if you load the save in VBA on PC, save it there, then transfer it to gpSP it'll work..Zitat:

Yes ofcourse it will work, only normal save though, not savestate.Zitat:

Ohhh....bad update:
Megaman Battle Network 1 freezes during the first practice battle
Monster Rancher Advance, when u quit game, and try to load the game, it resets back at the intro screen, even though the saved file still exists, how do u know, if u go to new game, it will say "Do you want to delete the current file".
How do you save Pokemon red ? :s...It comes up with an error thing :|.
EDIT* i just saw the thread sorry for this post :).
i finished Castlevania Aria of Sorrow but unsure if its Euro or USA version..
have u tried it?
i mean like, its easy to tell,
if it shows you a list of flags(of different countries) and it saids Choose Language, it is the Euro Version, and if it doesnt, its the USA Version
Must be your rom. I`m using gpsp .7 alt version and I`m at SkullMan. At the same time BN2 crashes the emu when I talk to a shop guyZitat:

BN2 works for me, i talked to the shop guy, nothing's wrong with my rom
but BN1 freezes
and for some reason:
Capcom Classics Mini Mix, has gameplay errors, like i played Mighty Final Fight, and jumped, and my character jumped up 10 times higher than he was supposed and disappeared...weird..
and
Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury, I press A and B Button, in the game select screen, but nothing happens...
pokemon chaos black works
I'm pretty sure that game saves after every move u make, which is hell annoying, cuz if u die, its back to step one. :PZitat:

( I used to rip cart out when i lost my fav char, and it would still have saved. :P )
hey how you play
Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand [Frameskip set to 1 or 2. No reported errors.]
Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django [Frameskip set to 1 or 2. No reported errors.]
with out the sun senser lol
-= Double Post =-
i found out some game dont run in a zip file
like which ones?
Final fantasy TA
Super robot
-= Double Post =-
Duel master shadow
Really, Final Fantasy TA works fine for me and its zipped
Unzip those, take out unnecessary files and then... rezip using normal settings.
Also, in Boktai 1 and 2, hold down L (or R, I don't remember) and press left or right on the d-pad to adjust the sunlight level.
Anyways, all MMBN games work fine for me in the alt version. On normal version, 1 crashes, 2 crashes, 3 brings me to the PET menu with nothing in it when I chose New game and it's a pretty weird bug, 4, 5 and 6 are untested.
Also, FIFA 2006 crashes after the language is chosen.
Advance Wars 1 + 2 works perfectly with frameskip set to 1, set frameskip to 2 for better sound and lag-free gaming experience.
Hotwheels - Stunt Track Racing is really really slow and the speed can't go beyond 45 FPS when racing and 45FPS is only possible when frameskip is higher than 4.
Street Racing Syndicate crashes. -.-
Stuntman works with frameskip set to 2. Pretty weird sound problem though.
Advance Wars 2, if the rom has an intro from Mode7, it will crash right after that.
GBA AVI roms compressed with Meteo crash mercilessly despite the rom size. <= Yes, they do.
Mario Golf - Advance Tour has a weird bug that messes up the indicator on the power bar and the game runs at 58 FPS with frameskip 2+
Mario vs Donkey Kong works perfectly fine with frameskip at 1.
Yu-gi-oh! 7 trials to glory seems to crash mercilessly because the rom is larger than 128MBit.
Need For Speed - Most Wanted Euro version crashes after choosing the language.
Road Rash - Jail Break works perfect with frameskip at 1.
Puyo Pop Fever seems slow in-game but sound is perfect at frameskip set to 2.
What else? Hmm... I think that's all I've tried as of today. d:
Edit: for Boktai 1 and 2, you have to apply a special patch to do the sunlight adjust thingy.
Megaman & Bass (FPS varies but is a bit laggy...but not too much)
Megaman Zero 2 (FPS at 3)
Rhythm Tengoku (J) (FPS at 0)
Here is my list of games that didn't work for me with gpsp 0.7 und gpsp 0.7 alternative.
Mario Party | Crash (Xandu said it works, but how ^^?)
Donkey Kong - King of Swing | Crash
Mario vs. Donkey Kong | I think it runs good but there is a glitch, which doesn't allow the Minimarios to jump on the bumper in the second world!
Megaman battle Network | Chrashes with a "Bad something" error if you want to enter the secret Base.
Mario & Luigi - Superstar saga | Crashes while changing into Battle.
I hope it helps if I mention that the transparency made every game slow down by 50%.
Well, that's it so far, I hope 0.8 will be released very soon, 0.7 is really good though ^^
did any 1 get gta to work or does it crash
You need a good dump of the game in order to make it work.
Mario Party definitely works with the normal version at frameskip set to 2.
Megaman Battle Network works with the alternative version but is pretty slow.
Mario and Luigi - Superstar Saga works perfectly fine with the normal version, apply the patch for the final battle with Bowser so it won't crash.
And nope, transparency doesn't slow anything down at all. Pokemon Emerald has quite a bunch of transparency and it works perfectly fine at frameskip 0, frameskip 1 is only needed sometimes. (:
Edit: GTA Advance works but runs really slow even at frameskip 4.
It crashes, i tried, it crashes after the intro story scene
Weird? It works for me past that point but it's ridiculously slow and the fastest it can run is about 68% of the real speed when Frame Skip is set to 6!
Anyways, Pop Idol is freakishly slow even though it's fully playable and the 3D models of the characters are only slightly glitchy.
kinda weird that all of us get different results when playing similar roms....
i changed the colors on the first page
@RunawayPrisoner
Well in Megaman Zero, it dows slow down everytime I walk through rain, light or fog.
But more important now is, that Megaman Zero 2 chrashes randomly which
made my victory over this phoenix guy useless, but well, I cant stop
to laugh about it like a maniac
Anyway, I love this emulator and played quite some games with full speed,
so, I will play Aria of sorrow until a new Version comes out and fix the
problem with Zero, then I will try to pwn that phoenix AGAIN
what roms do you guys play except for loz and pokemon
Take it from me, that is all anyone plays. :(Zitat:
Zitat von advent_9999
Except for LOZ and Pokemon? Advance Wars is another addictive game. :3 If MMBN worked faster, it'd be the one I play the most, too. Right now, it's just Advance Wars and then Boktai and then the SIMs and then... FFTA. I mean... come on, there are so many good games for the GBA! It doesn't have to be LOZ and Pokemon only. :3
