I have a gamegear, with 28 games, all the instructions, 26 game cases, a battery pack, a hard case, and a soft game case which i sspent 95$ on.

Anyone else have one?

I do, lost the games, lost the external power supply hook up along with a few games

, but it's one of my favorite "handheld" systems

i never owned one, but i borrow my mate's gg like a million times to play through shinobi again and again - that game rocked! i'm so happy now i have it on my psp

I think i use to have one. batteries were a whore on it , and i only had sonic for it :P

I like taking my Gamegear and Virtualboy (with the external battery pack) out when i go places. Confuses the hell out of the young kids these days. Several elem. kids thought my GG was a PSP.

Jurassic Park on gamegear kicked ***. Too bad you couldn't play for more then an hour or so without having to replace all 6 of those damn AA batteries...

. Was just playing this baseball game on it that came with it. Back when I bought it though, the price was similar to a psp lol.

I have one too, I take it with me from time to time, i love to play sonic and nba jam on it.

I get alot more strange looks from people when i take out my atari lynx handheld.

Still got my GG from when they first came out, i love it. Wonderboy 3 and Shinobi, best games ever. Its took a back seat now i have every game on my PSP though. :boohoo:

yea the nomad is still awesome, i took it places with me alot, until the PSP was able to play genesis games, not it just sits on a shelf with the rest of my handhelds i dont really play anymore

Nomad was never released here in the UK. I was gutted and imports were never too easy back then. Still, i got one from ebay about 2 years ago and was impressed, but the battery is a ******* and next to my PSP, it's GOD DAMN UGLY.

i'm checking out more game gear games at the moment and wondered what you guys reccommend - i've search google and one of the only top ten lists i've found is below, but i've played most of the games on it already (and i'm in the process of checking out the others)

what other games apart from those below do you guys reccommend?

I had a game gear for a while, it was pretty cool but my parents never would buy anything good for it so it ended up as a paperweight.

I was going to suggest Sword of Hajya

I still have my battery drainer, but I haven't played it in ages. I had a power supply but a "friend" sold it and the games I let him borrow for drug money :doh:

And I am not about to feed it 6 AAs every couple of hours. Though playing SFII:SoH, I could get 6+ hours from it. I remember many times sweating out getting to a save point while the power LED was flashing to tell me that it's current supply of feed was almost out. :dance:
