Help! Please!
My favorite emulator is Neo Geo CDZ, the only problem with this is the enormous size of the games.
However I read about someone compressing the mp3 files to make them smaller, they said that Dietmp3 did the job well. So I downloaded it, and apparantly it renames every single resized file which means that I would have to rename every single file after its resized.
So I download Blaze Media Pro 7.0 and a torrent containing ALL the neo geo cd games, (which contains like 90 or so games) but the stupid program always stops like 2 songs into the batch conversion and shuts down and I'm not trying to rebuild every single game in a row unless I can compress the mp3's while Im doing it.
I'd really love to be able to shrink those games down to a more reasonable size, zipping the roms helps but the majority of the space is being taken up by te mp3's and Stupid Blaze media pro says I have some kind of nctaudiofile2.dll issue which I don't understand so ANY help would be greatly appreciated
thanks in advance

Zitat von Basil Zero
good suggestion. Can you recommend any settings to keep as much volume as possible yet keep it as small as possible?
I can figure it out, but if you already know it would sure save some time
and thanks :)

I used db poweramp. Try google.
It worked really well for me, no need to rename. Change the mp3's to mono and reduce the quality setting. You won't even notice the difference.
Or an alternative option is to use the neo geo emulator. It plays pretty much all the neogeoCD games at full speed with sound and the rom sizes are much smaller

sure
Zitat von illegal machine
here's my configuration list:
BITRATE---80 Kbps
Check High Quality Encoding (takes longer to convert but worth it)
Stereo Encoding--STEREO(default)
I had a 17 mb FFVII Advent Children Song from a site i downloaded, after using the "Switch" Program, it went from 17 mb to 3 mb, sound quality change isnt noticeable at all
Dont go below 80 kbps, if u do, it'll sound scratchy
80 is best for lowest and almost SAME quality, the only difference in sound would be 1-2% difference (Almost unnoticeable)

Use psphost so you can have the files on your pc and still run them on your psp without having any space problems. And just put your fav games onto your memory stick.
