Yeah, it's ********'s gba emulator you're thinking of for the 16 mb load limit. The Playstation one shouldn't have that problem, seeing as all of the games are quite hefty. If you're worried about game size, then rest assured because ff7 comes in 3 discs, so one disc at a time my friend, one disc at a time.

At the end of disc 1 it lets you save. Save the game, exit, load again with the other disc inserted. It worked fine on ePSXe before the "change disc" option, should work fine on whatever PS1 emulator you end up using on PSP.

Yeah the game does that it lets you save before you change you disk so you can change you disk.

ROM catridges (like GBA) require loading of the whole file, while CDs (like PlayStation) only require loading of certain files.

i dont think a ps1 could suppor save state could be wrong tho
Anything can support save states. Save states are just dumps of the memory.

don't you change then save hmm i gotta play it again ill get it of my mate soon
No, you save then change. The reason for this is in case the disc changing messes up, or if you don't have your disc on you.

Yeah, but definitely not an ISO, ROFL.

Remember, decompressing technology has improved over the years, not to mention the space saved by removing unneeded things.

Is sony's ps1 emu gonna play games from memory stick or thru umd? If there from memory stick gonna waste alot of space. I love final fantasy 7 but not gonna be worth buying another memory stick just to replay that game on my psp.
