Many of you had already asked in this forum for the solution to the no sound problem, well, here it goes:

Do this and the sound bug will be gone (Don't know for sure if you can have Menu music on, menu fx on and pad beep on):

1 - Load Super Pang (The are other games that work like legend of the mystical ninja).
2 - Make a savesate then load it to confirm it still has sound.
3 - After that load the rom you want to play without exiting snesTYL.

Now the game you want to play will always have sound after loading the savestate. Now you can turn on music menu, menu fx and pad beep if you want.

You only have to do this to make the first savestate, after making the first savestate you don't need to load super pang. Only load the game you want to play and enjoy.

You must do this once for each rom.If you have a rom which has had the problem fixed using this method you can load that instead of Super Pang to fix the sound problem.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The first savestate must be saved on an empty slot, and never over a savestate with no sound. (Erase all the no sound savastate you have and if it doesn't work erase also all the settings from the PROFILES folder).

It works every single time for me. Hope it does for all of you to.

didn't they say they were working on a new one a long time ago? I hope it comes out, the only 2 things i want are this prob fixed and proper sleep.

Proper sleep is impossible while using the Media Engine.

They said they may make a final release but no other details.

I just imported my old snes states to get rid of sound problems. That worked.

the funny thing is i didn't even knew that the sound problem was due to the save state
