for some reason i cant get virtua racing working on dgen for some reason. does ur copy of virtua racing work on dgen?how did u get it to work?

I've never used dgen but I imagine it's because Virtua Racing is not a genesis game, it's a 32X game.

Yeah, it won't work, as it uses a graphics chip the emulator doesn't support, unfortunately.
