What made you think that the idle loop eliminations were compatability improvements? Pokemon Red Rescue Team is a 32MB ROM, the readme clearly states they don't work in gpSP 0.7, messing with game_config.txt won't help.

I think people are getting desperate..

No, none of the Castlevania games are 32MB and no 32MB games work on gpSP 0.7 (or PSPVBA for that matter).

Also what in the world are you talking about, encoding your own.. personal.. what? Good luck with that.

all i was saying was its not that hard to take a program like visualboy and port it to the psp which is going pretty well for me! thats all you need besides psp know how and it makes it a whole lot easier when you have a program like visual basics like i have!

Its been done. Several times actually (PSPVBA being the most active/successful one). And PSP only has 24MB of available memory, so you can't just port VBA and expect it to run 32MB ROMs because VBA fully expects there to be 32MB of RAM available for that.
Zitat von boomarang60
Sorry, but you're wasting your time. If you want VBA's compatability use PSPVBA. If you want to play 32MB ROMs on PSP wait for a later version of gpSP.
Not only is my address easy to find but so is my phone number.. no one has called me yet though ;)

So you haven't given up on running 32 meg roms? Yes! I have something to look forward too.
But yeah, if you really want to play pokemon mystery dungeon, use the latest version of Zx-81's port of VBA. It'll be agonizingly slow, though. And if ZX-81 couldn't make a fully working port of VBA, I doubt anybody can.

It won't work in PSPVBA, since PSPVBA doesn't support > 16MB ROMs either.
