i know you have the change the settings.. but how do you get to the settings? because if you push the analog stick to the left during gameplay, it just moves the character to the left.

somebody, please help.

Alright, I remember the answer from before, to access the menu: Left Trigger + Right Trigger + SelectOnce accessed, you should be able to do many options, one of them being the speed change.

Unhappy SnesRoms Running real slow

My Snes9x emu is also running really slow.. avg of about 15fps on Yoshi Island :shhh: . Have tried turning the graphic speed and audio speed up to 2x but the screen flikers. what to do?? are there any better options for more stable gameplay and smoother frame rate or is this just a matter of updates on emus in time?? If theres any backend options in snes9x(latestPSPversion) that help performance please help.

THANKS again to all

Question

Does changing the clock speed setting in the emu. to 333 affect your PSP at all (possibly damage anything) ?

No. This question has been asked a few hundred times btw. But the PSP was designed to run at 333mhz, but is set on 222mhz by default to encourage developers to use less power (as in battery) and only go higher if they really need to.

You should get the Y28 version, that one is the fastest, I think.

Talking

Stable Enjoyable SNES y28 settings.
Frameskip 3
Autoframeskip on
Sound Rate 11k
Transparency off(Turn on for some games but only if your game is displaying wrong)
Video Speed set to 1.2x
Sound Speed set to 1.0x
Clock set to 333mhz

I use this for most games and have yet to bump into any that become unplayable.
