gpSP 0.8 compatibility

oh so i would have to go to the second one?

For those of you who cant get Yu-Gi-Oh working i suggest looking in google. if you jsut get a white screen its your bios. i know the cos-bios.zip is no longer available. search either for NO$GBA.zip or Nds-Cos.zip i found mine in google using the first click there. its the genuine bios as im running my yu-gi-oh 2006 game on it now.

i got my yu-gi-oh eternal duelist soul working with no problems at all

All save state files work for me without any problems. Also, last time... there are very few sources (almost none) to download the genuine BIOS. The only legal (and fastest) way to get it is to rip it off your GBA. If you do it correctly, you'll have a BIOS that can load and play all games.

No sir! I just got it yesterday with the 1st day, *cough* don't use google and don't search for "cos-bios.zip" and don't press the 1st one, and don't use the 1st link's internal search function then don't type "cos-bios.zip" in it ;)

hmmm....

Kingdom Hearts COM works..but is it worth it, considering i would have to sacrifice 5 other games to play it.....(5 certain games crash in this version but not in the last one).

Would having new bios work?

You could always keep both versions on your memstick..

i had v07 also on my MS , just deleted it.... all of the games that i want to play, run good on v08 ..

Google cos-bios.zip for the genuine bios. Out of 3 results, pick the first one to find the compiled bios.

The link given doesn't even work anymore o-o.

I think you can only see it in IE, but even then it gives you a broken zip link that redirects to nowhere.

Also 2462 - Rhythm Tengoku (J) works perfect. If you guys haven't heard of it go look for it, it's pretty much Wario Ware all rhythm based. I'll try to release a save file after the begining tutorial because it's pretty rough (and in Japanese).

Google "emuparadise gba bios". The first result should lead you to the genuine gba bios.

i tried to put both versions, but it wont let me, it said, it would overwrite it, since the folders have the same name, than i tried to rewrite the 0.7 folder by replacing the "1" with 2, but it gave me an error, when i loaded the emu.

Wow, I finally found this freakin' clean bios, took me 4 ever but I found it, checked the hash and everything, had to go to IRC to find this.

You need to give the directories different names obviously.

Mario & Luigi never worked :P

Golden Sun has worked the same for me.

Yeah, just have the total 4 folders of both versions and name them like this:

gpSP07
gpSP07%
gpSP08
gpSP08%

Then you have 2 different versions on your stick. Quite simple actually, it's logical you can't have 2 of the same named folders in 1 directory.

I'd like to note that kirby and the amazing mirror works in 0.7. (sorry if its been said before)
So, if you wanna play it, you can on 0.7. (i think it works quite well with frameskip 1)

I keep checkin it out and it doesnt seem to be changing...
Um.. I can confirm Metroid Fusion working without frameskip change,
practically PERFECT.
And Mario Luigi Superstar doesnt work ?
I hope you are wrong cause i am downloading it now.
And is it just me, or are most of the (U) USA roms working better
than (E) and (J) ?

how do you know hes gonna update it so it works for the next release? msot of the games that didnt work on the first biuld still dont work and many that worke dnow dont, so compability seems to be on the low end of his priorities.

I did just this and everytime I try loading each emu the new one pops up, and I know this cause the same games that didnt work before still dont work and I somehow can amgically use save states on both. Or actually I name don gpsp and the other gpsp07.
